The success of any marketing activity must be coupled with an effective and realistic marketing plan which gives a marketer or company a direction to follow and how to heat the target. As a marketer, i have learned a great deal of knowledge about off and on Internet Marketing which has helped me develop an effective marketing plan and has contributed significantly in meeting my clients’ needs. The principles applied are workeable if done practically and a huge contrast is seen when not applied. Thank you very much for this information.

Nice survey Tony. I agree marketing budget should be fixed, but with agents it is difficult as there is a constant fluctuation of income depending on sales. I guess this is where sales forecasts comes in and working on a strategy & targets and doing whatever it takes to stick to that.

If do that only do an excerpt and always try to add a a couple of sentences of unique content at the beginning. Curating is big online at the moment and ranking well, but if your aim is a backlink it should be fine…

I agree with Christo,print advertising is staggeringly expensive…and it’s a dinosaur,we are catching up slowly here in South Africa but our websites are our new advertising platforms. I have whole vacancy schedules in my site in pdf form,updated monthly,try putting those in the newspaper and see what happens to your advertising costs.
